Remember my concerns during the flu episode about giving the kids Tamiflu? Well, it turns out that what the doctor prescribed in addition, was potentially just as dangerous. Yup, he gave them Voltarin. Which as you can see has been linked to at least one fatality around here.
Did I check up on Voltarin - heck no, I thought it was a slightly more potent alternative to paracetamol. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Looks like you have to check up on every drug around here.
Bad mother bad mother, bad mother.
Even worse paediatrician and hospital. They should have known better.

I believe you consulted a private doctor. Out here, they are more aggressive.
Unless you know your private/family doctor well and for long (we have known ours for 15 years), your best bet would be to consult the district clinics.
Just a suggestion.
Ciao!
Gosh, where on the island are the district clinics?
I have grown a healthy distrust of dispensing doctors here in HK.
Usually I google all medicine and double check with my old paediatrician, but with a painkiller I was lulled in thinking it was innocent. I know better now.
